Running an Airbnb in St. George feels like a survival game. Guests leave at 10 a.m. New guests arrive at 3. I walk in and the kitchen looks like there was a cooking show meltdown. Sand hiding in strange places. Towels sitting in the tub like a towel graveyard. Someone always leaves a note that says, “We only used one room.” Sure. I totally believe that. I also believe salads taste better than fries.
I’ve cleaned Airbnb rentals all over St. George including the communities of Las Palmas, Sports Village, and Paradise Village.
Side Note About Sports Village: My ex, Andie and I both owned condos in Sports Village. I lived in mine which I got after a buyer failed to make her payments on the seller financed loan. I did eventually use the unit as a long-term rental. Andie lived in hers for a while and then turned hers into a short term rental after meeting me. I sold mine for a substantial profit and Andie sold hers and broke even.
Anyway, back to Airbnbs. I'll get your place sparkling again faster than you can say guest turnover.

Guest left due to poor cleaning
Hey all, we had a guest leave our property on the first day and did not spend the night because they say the property was not clean. Our cleaners sent us pictures and everything seemed fine but the guest sent close ups and there were a few issues. Regardless if it was warranted, Airbnb gave a full refund.
So my question is, if you refund a guest because of cleanliness issues how do you handle that with your cleaners? Do you not pay them for the turn, partial payment, or any other options? Thanks all!

1,000 Letters To Mail
I am working on mailing 1000 letters to potential vacation rental home owners. It is time consuming and uses a lot of paper, ink and especially stamps ($600 to mail 1,000 letters). I am hand addressing all the envelopes.
