Why Bathrooms Get Dirty So Fast in St. George

Some of our clients who moved here from out of state ask us, “Why does my shower get dirty so fast?” We let them know it’s our water. They’ve probably never dealt with water this hard before.

Hard water leaves white spots on glass, tile, faucets, and shower doors. Add to that soap scum.

My Personal Take on Cleaning Bathrooms:

The area that is missed the most by people cleaning toilets is  reaching around behind the toilet. There is almost always something on the floor back there. Usually toilet paper.

Another thought is that It really pays to squeegee the walls and shower doors when you are done showering. This helps keep soap scum and hardwater stains from building up.

From Grime to Shine

When we’re cleaning bathrooms, it’s a top to bottom job.

Water spots and soap scum are removed from the shower and tracks, tub, and sink.

Any mold stains are removed.

The toilet is cleaned inside and out.

Mirrors will be spot free.

All types of floors are mopped. Mats are vacuumed.

Light fixtures, switchplates, and outlet covers are cleaned.

And we’ll make sure the vents are cleared of dust and dirt.

Why Homeowners Like Us

*  Our cleaners care about the job they do.

*  We’re affordable. We charge $40/hour. We are one of the least expensive cleaning services in St. George.

*  Having us clean for you saves you time and energy.

 Deep Bathroom Cleaning

Whether it's your first time with us or it’s areas that aren’t usually cleaned regularly, a deep cleaning will get the job done.

Although we wipe down mold, tile and grout in a standard cleaning, it may need more if stains are set in. We can get that taken care of.

Walls are a main focus, also. Clients realize dust from the vents and open windows settle on walls.

Baseboards may need extra care.
Sunriver retirees tell me their bathrooms feel new again.

Bloomington Ranches homeowners say the place feels lighter afterward.

Bathroom Cleaning for Local Businesses

Public bathrooms can get used a lot. Offices, medical facilities, restaurants, as well as other establishments. No one likes to walk into a dirty bathroom.

Our janitorial / commercial cleaning service keeps your bathrooms clean, fresh, and well stocked. We’ll refill the paper and soap. Sanitize every surface and remove water spots from sinks and counters. The fixtures and faucets will be spotless.

We build a plan around what your place actually needs. Some businesses want us once a week, others need us every day.

Bathroom cleaning service for large homes

Homes in Stone Cliff, Desert Color, and Green Springs have four, five, or six bathrooms. Families want to be out and about, not taking a whole day just to clean bathrooms. We help them keep every bathroom clean.

Bathrooms are one of the main rooms that are constantly used. Master bathrooms, guest bathrooms and powder rooms. Kids and teenager’s bathrooms. Basement bathrooms, pool bathrooms, and casitas, I clean them all.

Simple Bathroom Tips

Use a squeegee after showers

Run the fan for longer times

Wipe faucets before they dry

Keep a roll of paper towels in the bathroom for quick drying without dirtying a towel.

Bathroom Cleaning Tips from Reddit

what are the steps you take to deep clean your bathroom?

looking for a checklist of sorts! this is what i typically do, wondering if there’s anything i’m missing/anything that would up my clean bathroom game lol

  1. take out all the trash (medium trashcan next to toilet, tiny trashcan next to sink for floss and disposable makeup tools etc.)
  2. remove all the clothes either sitting on my above-toilet shelves or hanging from the back of the door, sort into laundry hamper/closet
  3. take towels and shower curtain/liner out and throw in washing machine
  4. remove bathrug, vacuum and wipe down both sides (i have one of those super thin rubber/pvc ones that can’t be washed)
  5. scrub out bathtub and sink with dish soap, water, and my scrubbing brush; rinse clean
  6. scrub toilet bowl with scrubbing bubbles flushable toilet brush heads
  7. spray bleach in all corners of the bathtub, in and around the sink, all over the outside of the toilet, let sit 5 minutes, wipe with wet washcloth (separate ones for bathtub/sink and toilet) - immediately toss washcloths in the laundry
  8. wipe down mirror with windex
  9. lysol wipes for towel rod, faucets, doorknob (including cabinet doorknobs) and anything else i touch frequently
  10. vacuum again to clean up any scraps or hair from all the other steps
  11. mop with microfiber mop and lysol multi surface cleaner + water solution (microfiber mop head then also gets washed along with washcloths)

that’s pretty much it, curious to know if anyone takes any other/extra steps, maybe even not Every clean but every so often! let me know if there’s anything you think i’m missing here 🙂
