What If Hiring Us For Housekeeping Kept Your St. George Home Clean Without Any Effort?
My Ongoing Saga With Messy Houses
Is housekeeping in St George a sport? Could be. Your kitchen looks like a tornado happened. Does your laundry multiply overnight. Is your house cleaning one step ahead of you?
We’re all in this together
Someone in Stone Cliff told me their floors get dusty again before the mop even dries. A friend in The Boulders swears her laundry basket has a secret laundry multiplying tunnel that leads to another dimension. That’s where the missing socks go. We work at an Entrada home with a kitchen that sometimes look like a cooking show explosion (think: Saturday night live, Julia Child's skit, kitchen).
Keeping a house clean? Difficult at best. That’s where my business, First Impressions Home and Office Cleaning comes in. (Did you see me doing a shameless plug there?)
We help real families. Families struggling to keep up with the housekeeping. I’ve learned a few things along the way..
What We Do to Make Life Easy for Our Clients
Here’s what general housekeeping looks like. This is how I help families keep their homes running smooth and gentle.
Plain Talk About General House Keeping
(It's like a talk show but less interesting)
Housekeeping:
Let’s talk about house cleaning. The stuff that keeps a home looking organized. It’s the daily and weekly cleaning that make things better.
In St. George, general housekeeping usually means keeping the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and other rooms tidy.
I help with weekly routines. I.E. the “please just make my home look normal again” moments. I keep things simple. I tidy, clean, and make the house look and feel good again.
Laundry Is A Weekly Reminder That Clothes Multiply - I Think
I don’t know why, but laundry piles up fast. Because of the heat, the kids, and the gym clothes, it seems to be never ending.
For help with the laundry I wash, dry, fold, and put everything where it belongs. I’ve folded clothes in homes all over St. George. Of course everyone likes things done a certain way. Some homeowners are particular about how towels get folded (my ex was like that with the towels.). Some homeowners really don’t care as long as the socks match. I just go with the flow.

Ironing: Because No one likes to look disheveled
Ironing isn’t at the top of people’s list of getting things done.
With families’ busy schedules no one wants this chore that can take up a lot of time. That’s where we step in.
I offer this service because it makes life easier for my clients.
I iron shirts, pants, dresses, and whatever else needs to look smooth. I keep it simple and quick. I make clothes look like someone cares.
Cleaning the Kitchen: Because Families are either rushing out or tired when they come home
Kitchens in St. George get messy fast. The cooking, the eating, and the kids grabbing snacks, my oh my. The kitchen is a room that always needs help.
I wipe counters, clean sinks, scrub the stove, and remove fingerprints from the fridge. Ask nicely and I’ll even clean the inside of the fridge. We even clean the inside of microwaves too. I make the whole kitchen feel clean again.
Cleaning the Bathrooms: You’re bathroom shouldn't look like a locker room!
Bathrooms are where the real work happens. Hard water spots, toothpaste blobs, and shower grime.
I scrub the sinks, wipe mirrors, and clean the toilets. I make the tubs and showers look like something you’d actually want to step into.
I’ve cleaned bathrooms in The Boulders (off of River Road) that looked like they hadn’t been touched in months. When I get done with them, they’ll be “model home clean.”
Your Own Personal Space, Cleaning The Bedrooms
Bedrooms should feel calm, but coming home to an unmade bed or clothes everywhere can be stressful. I tidy, dust, make beds, and reset the space so it feels peaceful again.
I’ve helped busy parents in Washington Fields. They just wanted their bedroom to feel like a sanctuary again.
I Clean the Floors Like Dirt Has No Bounds
Floors in St. George needs full attention. I sweep, vacuum, and mop until the floors look really clean again.
I’ve cleaned it all. I’ve cleaned tile, hardwood, carpet, and floors that looked like someone tracked half of Snow Canyon inside. It’s all fixable.

Tidy and Reset: Where we take Chaos and turn it into Calm
Sometimes a home doesn’t need a deep clean. It just needs a reset. I pick up, straighten, and put items back where they belong. That’s what a good reset..
This is the service most homes need. It’s the “please help us get our home in order again” kind of clean.
Local Life: The Things St. George Families Tell Me
I spend a lot of time around town of course, since I live here. I’ve learned that housekeeping isn’t just about cleaning. It’s about helping families feel calmer.
While at Painted Pony, in ancestor square, I overheard (yes, I’m nosy) a woman who talked about how fast dust settles over everything in her home.
I was having a quick organic lunch at Xetava Cafe way out in Kayenta a couple of weeks ago after a challenging day of cleaning. I overheard (again nosy) parents talk about how much laundry they have to do every week. “Mountains worth” is what I heard.
Nowadays, life gets busy. Homes get messy, laundry piles up. And sometimes you just need someone (Like me) to help you get it all together again.
You Should Hire My Housekeeping Service Because Messes Don’t Clean Themselves
I started helping families because I know how it feels to be overwhelmed. I’ve had weeks where the house felt like it was winning. Actually I have my head housecleaner clean my home. I’m not lazy, just overwhelmed sometimes.
So when I help someone else, I’m not doing it from a distance. I’m doing it as someone who lives in St. George (Winchester Hills). I deal with the same problems. Because I have someone who works for me clean my home, I know how good it feels when the house finally looks bright and clean again.
And if you ever need more than just advice, I do offer weekly housekeeping and all the services above through my little cleaning business, First Impressions Home and Office Cleaning (435) 879-1239 Call me to find out more.

Our head housekeeper, Krisandra
